I was recommended to Dr. Mark after finding out I had a torn meniscus in my knee and my doctor said I needed surgery to repair it. I wasn't able to straighten my leg or flex my quad at all. I found the holistic approach a welcome change from previous PT I have done and I was amazed at how working on other parts of my body helped me to regain function in my knee. After 6 weeks of physical therapy I am on a recovery path which appears I won't need surgery after all.

I've had Mark work on my back, shoulders and neck. The results were nothing short of spectacular! He has helped increase range of motion and a reduction of pain quickly! Not to mention the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating!

I have gone to Mark many times now over the last several years. He is terrific physical therapist and more importantly he works toward not only relieving pain but getting to the root of the issue that is causing the pain. I won’t say he is a miracle worker but he is right up there on my list. I encouraged my colleague, Melissa, to see Mark as well. She came by after she saw him and indicated she was not in pain any longer. He definitely knows what he is doing and I really trust him.

I wanted to thank you so much for all the very hard work you did on my back during the last several months. It feels so much better than it did when I came home from Florida last March. Thank you for all you have done for me to help me get back to the lifestyle that I want to live. If you had said to me 5 or 6 years ago that I’d be able to participate in the PELOTONIA and ride a hundred miles on my road bike and climb 4,500 feet along the way, I’d have had a really hard time believing it. I do now. Thank you! In a way, I kind of look at the ride as my accomplishment to prove to myself that I’ve really gotten back, not just the single ride but the hundreds of training miles and everything along the way.

One more day of fly fishing in the NC mountains. I have bounced down off road jeep trails and scrambled up rock filled streams and my back has held up. You are indeed a wizard and I thank you.

Mark, I am writing a note to you to say thank you for all the assistance you have provided to me. I feel like I have gained a tremendous amount of flexibility throughout my hips and torso. In my profession it is critical to be mobile but stable and I know that is much more the case now than previously. Beyond the improvement related to my profession I just feel much better and think I can delay/avoid what I believe was an inevitable left knee replacement. Additionally I have seen my clients that you have treated improve dramatically. From bad backs to wrist injuries their quality of life as well as golf games have gotten better. Hi! My name is Barbara and I'm a Mark Read addict. That's a good thing - a really good thing. I first worked with Mark when I was in my 40's and he performed his miracles, then I took a long break (thinking, like most of us, that I'd be good for the rest of my life). Well, I've discovered that it's a privilege to have gotten to my 70's and now I find that aches and pains come with that privilege.
